Thank you GoD! I will officially be leaving my retail stint soon. Soon being the day after Thanksgiving- which is a hellish retail day to work but my last day!
I was hired to work at the St. Charles Library behind the circulation desk- no shelving involved! Let's just say they're paying me the most I've ever made per hour. Non-profit heaven!

Maybe I'll get more of my soul back. Maybe I'll find more things funnier (including poor Jeff). Maybe I'll just be plain happier.
I'm thankful I had work but I also realize…introverts should not work retail for more than 4 months. And especially NOT during Christmas. And I don't mean extreme introverts or mildly introverted people. I mean middle of the road introverts. Those on the middle of the introverted scale.
No retail. No more. One year at B&N and another year at various other retail jobs was more than enough for my life span. Oh yes.
